What if I feel overwhelmed during a session?
That’s completely okay. Your counsellor will work with you to slow down, take breaks, or pause if needed. You’re always in control — we’ll never push you to keep going if something feels too much.
Can I bring notes or write things down during sessions?
Absolutely. Some people find it helpful to bring notes, write things down, or use grounding tools during sessions. You’re welcome to do whatever helps you feel safe and supported.
What if I change my mind about counselling?
That’s completely okay. You’re never locked in. If you decide not to continue — whether after your assessment or during your sessions — we’ll respect your decision without pressure. If it’s helpful, we can also offer signposting to other services that may better meet your needs.
