Our Cancellation Policy

At The Echo Society, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to everyone, allowing us to serve other clients who may be waiting for support while respecting our counsellors' time.

Our Policy at a Glance

To ensure fairness to all, we require 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment.

• Initial Assessment Session: If a session is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, rescheduled, or missed, the full consultation fee will be applied.

• Ongoing Counselling: If an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice or is not attended, the full session fee will be applied.

• Cancellations by The Echo Society: Sessions cancelled by us will not be charged.

Pre-Payment and Fees

For all ongoing counselling sessions, we operate a pre-payment policy. To secure your booking, payment is due 48 hours before the session. If payment has not been made beforehand, we will be unable to hold the session time, and it will be made available to other clients.

• Initial Assessment Session: The fee for this session is based on our sliding scale and your income.

• Individual Counselling: On a sliding scale from £45.00 to £120.00.

Unforeseen Circumstances

We understand that unexpected events can happen. If your cancellation is due to genuine, unforeseen circumstances, please let us know, and we may be able to waive the fee.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please notify your allocated counsellor directly using the email address they have provided.

Hours of Operation

• Admin Hours: Mondays – Wednesdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Counselling Hours: Mondays – Fridays, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
