About the Protest
In a period of heightened public debate around the subject of narcissism, and in response to the significant and often silent epidemic of narcissistic abuse in the UK, The Echo Society proudly united with a coalition of protestors in London.
Our aim was clear: to give voice to the many individuals who aren't being heard, valued, respected, or equally included in society, and to highlight the critical need for comprehensive support systems and preventative measures. Currently, such vital resources are severely lacking for those impacted by this profound relational trauma.

On Friday, 13th July 2018, a truly monumental event unfolded as organisers estimated over 250,000 participants from all walks of life marched through the streets of London in a powerful public demonstration. This significant event brought the devastating impact of narcissistic abuse into the light, loudly declaring that we are no longer silent.
The Echo Society was honoured to be a central part of this collective voice, championing the message of "NO! TO NARCISSISTIC ABUSE!" through our #NAMUK campaign. This peaceful protest was a positive and empowering day, uniting The Echo Society team, individuals impacted by abuse, and dedicated campaigners, all working together towards essential positive change.

A huge thank you to all those who attended this first-ever public protest for individuals impacted by narcissistic abuse. The significant interest from the public demonstrated the growing impact of our collective voice.
This event marked a powerful step forward, and we hope it was the first of many such demonstrations of solidarity and awareness.
