Michaela
Michaela is a Person-Centred Counsellor and trauma-informed practitioner with experience supporting adults through domestic abuse, coercive control, narcissistic abuse, trauma, and relational difficulties. Drawing on her background in counselling, women's refuge services and family-support roles, she offers a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences and move towards healing at their own pace.
With experience supporting clients affected by PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation, Michaela works collaboratively to help individuals better understand their emotional responses, rebuild confidence, and develop healthier boundaries. She also has experience supporting neurodivergent clients and adapts her communication style to meet individual needs, offering clear and structured support where this is helpful.
Michaela is passionate about empowering clients to gain greater self-understanding, strengthen their sense of self, and move forward with increased confidence, clarity, and emotional wellbeing.
